~*~ Welcome to the Delaunay Family Website ~*~

Angel Raphael Louis Delaunay, came over to Blackley, Manchester, England from
Rouen, France, in 1788, a year before the French revolution. Grandsons of Angel also
resided in Stockport, Salford and Yorkshire.

Contrary to some reports and hearsay, we now know there is no family link between
these Delaunay's to the Marquis De Launay.

Angel set up the first successful "Turkey Red Dye Works" in England. The first
Successful Turkey Red Dye Works being in Scotland. He Settled in Blackley with his family.

Although there are a few of us working together to collect as much information
about the Delaunay family, we would be happy to accept any contributions that
may be relevant.
